How to Purchase Mitigation Credits
1. Wetland Delineation & Impact Assessment
Hire a qualified environmental consultant to delineate wetlands on your site and assess potential impacts. A site plan will help determine whether wetland impacts are present and if permitting is required.
2. Permitting & UMAM Evaluation
Your consultant will coordinate directly with permitting agencies to conduct a UMAM (Uniform Mitigation Assessment Methodology) analysis to determine your project’s mitigation credit requirements.
3. Submit a Credit Purchase Application
Once mitigation needs are confirmed, complete the Purchase Application Form and email it to NokuseBanker@gmail.com to request a reservation letter. Reservation Letters are generally required by regulatory agencies before permits can be issued.
4. Purchase Agreement & Letter of Reservation
A purchase agreement will be drafted. Once a deposit is receivedand a contract signed, Nokuse will issue a letter of reservation for use in the permitting process.
5. Final Credit Withdrawal
After your permit is issued, send a copy to us via email. The corresponding mitigation credits will be officially withdrawn and reported to the permitting agency.
Reservation letters and pricing are valid for one year. If an extension or price confirmation is needed, please email at least 30 days prior to expiration
